Gluten Free Lavender Shortbread

Butter mix

Flour mix

    Directions

    Step1


    BUTTER MIX
    Grind up 2 tsp lavender until almost flour with mortar and pestle

    Step2

    Mix butter, sugar, lavender flour, 1 tsp extra lavender and vanilla together until light and creamy

    Step3


    FLOUR MIX
    Mix the flours together and add to the butter mix

    Step4

    Mix and knead into a dough, lightly flour board and roll to 1/2 cm thick and cut into shapes

    Step5

    Place onto a tray lined with baking paper and put into the fridge for 1 hr

    Step6

    Preheat oven to 160 degrees C, place biscuits in the oven and cook for 20-25 mins

    Step7

    Let cool completely before storing in a metal container.
